Hope is here and we are so grateful for those of you who participated in the Lenten Fasting Challenge, allowing us to share that hope with all of Oakland. As a small way of expressing our immense appreciation, we invite you to a Thank You Barbecue for all of the challenge participants. If you participated, please join us on May 18, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Cathedral Plaza. Please RSVP by Saturday, May 4, by clicking here.

We are seeking more volunteers to participate in our Sunday Mass during the offertory. If you are interested, please join us for a training opportunity in the church on Sunday, April 28 at 10:30 a.m.

A novena of Masses for mothers begins at the 11:00 am Mass on May 12 and ends on Tuesday, May 21 at the 12:10 pm Mass. You may submit names of mothers through offering envelopes at the concierge desk.

Next Tuesday (April 9) and Wednesday (April 10) we will be hosting hosting eighth graders from Catholic schools around the diocese for Eighth Grade Day. Please note, Mass will be at 1:00 p.m. instead of our usual 12:10 time, and will be celebrated by Bishop Barber. All are welcome to join at 12:30 for an explanation of vestments provided by Bishop Barber.
