Baptism Preparation

Holy Baptism is the the gateway to all other sacraments.

Baptism, the first sacrament, is the basis of Christian life. Clensed and freed from sin, all those baptized become members of the Church's body and enter into a new life in Christ.

The Cathedral of Christ the Light offers 2 programs for those seeking to enter the Catholic Church: Infant Baptism and Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).

Infant Baptism (For children up to seven years of age only)

Our Baptism program is built to prepare parents and godparents as spiritual guides for the child. Classes are designed so participants gain a deep understanding of what the Church expects of them regarding their committment to the Church and the spiritual life of the child.
