Conroy Memorial Organ Demonstration

The Conroy Memorial Organ, a $2.5 million gift, dedicated in February 2010, was made by Orgues LeTourneau of Montreal.  There are 92 ranks, 4 manuals, pedal pipes.  The risers support many of the 5,298 organ pipes.  About 1,000 of the pipes were installed behind the cloth facing of the wall.  This magnificent instrument is used in Sunday Masses, large liturgies, concerts and other events throughout the year.   Join the Cathedral's organist, Dr. Rudy de Vos, as he briefly talks about this magnificent instrument and demonstrates some of the different sounds from its countless pipes.

Depending upon the availability of the organist, a demonstration of the Conroy Memorial Organ can be arranged in advance as part of a docent-led tour when making an online reservation for a group tour (10+ people).
